He is trying to get back into acting and has managed a few auditions and small, uncredited roles recently. Dan's life has been full of both extreme good and really bad luck, and he has had close encounters with drowning, electrocution, explosion, crushing, and car accidents. Despite the odd luck, Dan has had financial windfalls from casinos that allowed him to finance a few small film projects and pursue his dream of acting.
