Merrill Matthews lives in Montreal, Quebec. He is a huge fan of pop culture (especially the 90s!), music, movies and books. He loves to write and create short films. He studied at Concordia University in their Film Studies program, and has been making his own short films since 2016.
His short film “Included,” which is about workplace inclusion, won the Honorable Mention award at the 2019 Canada Shorts Film Festival. His current film “The Love Letter” was selected as part of the London edition of the Lift Off Global Network Film Festival as well as the 4Theatre Film Festival. He is also a husband to an amazing woman and father to an amazing 13 year old girl.
