Joseph D'Intino

PhD Candidate

Joseph D’Intino is a PhD Candidate in School and Applied Child Psychology at McGill University. His doctoral thesis examines the development of executive functioning skills (i.e. planning, inhibition, working memory, goal-setting, etc.) in adolescents and how best to support students to improve these skillsets. His research is heavily informed by his experiences working with youth in a variety of schools and community settings. In addition to his doctoral studies, Joseph has published peer-review articles concerning best research research in education, differentiated instruction, and how to support students with learning disabilities. Born and raised in Montréal, QC, Joseph works hard to give back to his community through fundraising efforts that support youth programs, as well as through his website and blog, Healthy Learning MTL (healthylearningmtl.com), which provides free tips, articles, and resources for parents and educators in an effort to disseminate research findings and expertise to the wider community.
